HAUPPAGE, N.Y. – Sibling lingerie brands Magic Silk and Male Power have named a new director of domestic and international sales: Steve Hirsch.

No, not that Steve Hirsch. To the best of our knowledge there is no relationship between Vivid founder and co-chairman Steve[n] Hirsch and the Steve Hirsch now on staff at Magic Silk and Male Power.

Hirsch the sales director spent the past six years working as a sales representative for Evolved Novelties and Zero Tolerance Entertainment. Previously, he spent more than two decades in the consumer electronics industry. For 10 of those years, he served as national product trainer for Pioneer Electronics.

“This company is very similar to Evolved in that it highly values merchandise quality and service,” Hirsch said of his new employer. “And the staff is extremely professional and deeply passionate about their products. We speak the same language, and that should make my job here easier, more enjoyable and very productive.”

In order to expand market share and increase worldwide sales, Hirsch said he plans to transition “some exciting ideas” from the novelty side of the adult business to the lingerie side. He also vowed to generate more vendor meetings and represent his new employers at additional trade shows and distributor events.
